Dr. Jennifer Sullivan Owen grew up in the small farming community of Morrisonville, IL. She attended Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL where she graduated with honors with an undergraduate BS of Science. She then went on to attend the University of Illinois where she graduated summa cum laude as a DVM. She began her career practicing at Brush College Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2005 and purchased the practice in 2020. 

Dr. Owen is committed to providing one on one care and compassion to each and every patient. When asked why she loves being a veterinarian she said “If you listen hard enough, the animals will talk to you. I love having the ability to be their voice.”  Outside of our clinic she is a dedicated wife and wonderful mom to two beautiful boys, Logan and Luke. Her yellow lab Penny Jo is a member of the team and can be found snoozing in the office. She also has an adorable 3 legged kitty Pixie, along with our clinic cats, Wilma, Fred and Pebbles. In her free time you can always find her with a good book in her hand, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to serving you and your pet through all stages of life.
